With RACE Voicemail, you get a whole new way to manage your voicemail. When you’re away from your phone or if you just don’t get to the phone in time, callers have the option to leave a voice message. The next time you pickup your phone, you will hear a stutter dial tone indicating you have a message waiting. You also have the option to have a copy of the voice message sent to your email address. Here is a reference guide to help you navigate through the prompts.
Accessing Voicemail via Your RACE Phone
- Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone.
- Dial *99
- Enter your PIN when prompted.
Accessing Voicemail away from your RACE phone
- Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone.
- Dial your assigned phone number.
- When your personal greeting begins to play, press *.
- Enter your PIN when prompted.
Voicemail To Email Setup
- Go to http://www.race.com
- Enter your account number and password that was provided to you during your install
- Under the voice services section click on voicemail options.
- Select the phone number
- Select notification options
- Select Send Email attachments
- Enter your email address
- Hit save
- You will now receive voicemail from [email protected] please remember to enter [email protected] into your spam filter white list.
Setting Voicemail Greeting
- Access your voice mail over the phone by dialing [*99] or by dialing your phone number.
- Once logged in press [0] for mailbox options.
- Once in mailbox options press [1] to set your unavailable message.
- After recording your unavailable greeting
- Press : 1 To accept
- Press : 2 To review
- Press : 3 To re-record
- Press : 4 To return to the main menu
- Press : # To exit
Managing Voicemail Options
- Press : 1 To play voice mail message(s)
- Press : 2 To change folders
- Press : 3 For advanced options
- Press : 1 To send a reply
- Press : 2 To hear the message envelope
- Press : # To return to the main menu
- Press : 4 To play previous message
- Press : 5 Repeat current message
- Press : 6 Play next message
- Press : 7 Delete current message or to undelete
- Press : 8 Forward message to another mailbox
- Press : 9 Save message in a folder
- Press : # To exit; during msg playback: Skip forward
- Press : * To return to the main menu
- Press : 0 For mailbox options
- Press : 1 To record your unavailable message (default greeting)
- Press : 2 To record your busy message
- Press : 3 To record your name
- Press : 4 To change your password
