Can I add/remove notifications about a service event in my area?

Yes. By default we will send email notifications to all affected Race customers, and SMS notifications to customers who have provided and authorized a cell phone (message and/or data charges may apply).

Adding notifications

If you would like notifications for an event to be sent to an additional email or an additional phone number:

  1. Locate the outage on the map or Events tab and click on it.

  2. Click on the “Subscribe” link.

  3. Enter the phone number or email and then confirm the subscription.

Removing notifications

To unsubscribe to notifications for an individual event, follow the unsubscribe instructions in the notification you were sent.

If you wish to add or remove a phone from ALL future SMS notifications, contact Race support for account assistance.
